Growers
Komet Handlers enables growers to create shipments for their customers and allocate boxes being shipped to an AWB and a house AWB. Additionally, the system supports the placement of boxes in inventory to be available for later sale.
Growers may track their shipped product through various reports that show the status in which the boxes are (farm shipped, received at warehouse, shipped to customer, etc).

Inventory & Shipping
Komet Handlers allows logistics companies to control incoming product to inventory by scanning it at the time it is received, whether the product is going to be sent immediately to a customer or if it is going to be stored for later sale.
Shipments can be assigned to a specific carrier with a shipping date of departure. Generate BOLs and scan products against pick tickets in order to identify incorrect boxes before they are shipped, which allows you to view which orders were shipped and which were not.

Billing
Komet Handlers takes your billing to a faster and error free process. The system assists users to generate invoices by establishing rates, product origin, grower, customer and season. You may also designate a specific billing subject who will be paying for the bill. Invoices are generated in PDF format and automatically sent via e-mail or fax.

Customers
End-customers can access the system to view their updated list of rates, generate reports to track product, print invoices, among others.
Administration
Customers and farms: Komet Handlers allows users to administrate and query in a prompt and effective way customers' and growers' information: Address, phone number, contact names, among others.
Products: Allows users to manage their products in accordance to GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) standards.
Reporting
Multiple, out-of-the-box, pre-configured reports will allow you to monitor the operations performance. User-friendly filtering options allow even the most basic user to find data quickly and the drill-down capabilities provide access to additional details with a single click of the mouse.

User Roles & Security
Komet Handlers is a role-based system that can be accessed by multiple users via Web.
The system has been designed in such a way that it accommodates to operating environments that have either a single user or multiple users, and in which each user is responsible for specific tasks.
Integration
We're aware that in today's business environment, customers are more demanding than ever. For this reason, we have developed specific interfaces based on XML files that allow the system to integrate with third party applications.
Komet Farms provides an API based on REST (Representational State Transfer). This provides the ability to exchange information with the system via URL requests and HTTP responses. This translates into an advantage in terms of flexibility since users can run custom actions over the system according to their particular needs as well as integrate the Komet Farms system with their own in-house or 3rd party systems.
