Overview
Komet Sales is a floral software solution that provides importers and wholesalers with the necessary tools that are required to handle their operations. The web based system includes inventory management, purchase orders, standing orders, prebooks, order entry, shipping, accounts receivables, reports, dashboards, role based security and a RESTful API for integration.
Inventory Management
Komet Sales enables importers and wholesalers to manage inventory in their warehouses as well as remote locations ran by third-party logistic providers. Incoming product is placed in a 'staging area' in order to confirm quantities before they become part of available inventory.
- Add inventory to the system by using bar code scanners, performing a manual data entry or receiving electronic shipments from cargo agents.
- Enter detailed product breakdown for assorted and combo boxes which enables salespeople to view the composition of the box during sales.

Purchase Orders
Komet Sales provides an innovative way to purchase items based on the needs generated by prebooks and standing orders while ensuring that the exact quantities are purchased. This purchasing system is extremely valuable for purchase deparments that have multiple buyers or buyers in different geographic locations (e.g.: Miami, Quito, etc.).
Prebooks & Standing Orders
Komet Sales allows users to efficiently manage their standing orders and prebooks. Prebooks are automatically added to a "pool" of product that needs to be sourced by purchasing and is presented as a "pending inventory". As purchasing assigns purchase orders the "pending inventory" is reduced as the prebooks are fulfilled.
Order Entry
Komet Sales provides the ability to generate orders based on up-to-the minute inventory availability. This feature allows multiple users to simultaneously place orders.
- Automatically send invoices via email or fax.
- Enter orders with detailed information like: box type, bunches per box, units per bunch and sales price.
- Confirm orders when ready for packing.
- Print packing orders.
- Synchronize order information with third-party systems.
Shipping
Komet Sales allows users to quickly assign orders for shipping and visualize pending shipments for a specific date. Alternatively Komet Sales can integrate with various third-party logistic providers that electronically receive the shipment informationand process the shipments.

Accounts Receivables
Komet Sales automatically integrates the order entry with accounts receivables. Salespeople have real time access to A/R information from the order entry screen providing valuable information that can be used when negotiating the product sale price. The system also allows receiving payments and managing credit memos.

Reporting
Multiple, out-of-the-box, pre-configured reports will allow you to monitor the operations performance. User-friendly filtering options allow even the most basic user to find data quickly and the drill-down capabilities provide access to additional details with a single click of the mouse.

User Roles & Security
Komet Sales is a role-based system that can be accessed by multiple users via Web.
The system has been designed in such a way that it accommodates to operating environments that have either a single user or multiple users, and in which each user is responsible for specific tasks such as inventory management, purchase and order entry.
Setup
Komet Sales allows users to manage and query in a prompt and effective way customer information such as addresses, phone numbers and contact names among others. All products are managed in accordance to the GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) standards.
Integration
We're aware that in today's business environment, customers are more demanding than ever. For this reason, we have developed specific interfaces based on XML files that allow the system to integrate with third party applications.
Komet Sales provides an API based on REST (Representational State Transfer). This provides the ability to exchange information with the system via URL requests and HTTP responses. This translates into an advantage in terms of flexibility since users can run custom actions over the system according to their particular needs as well as integrate the Komet Sales system with their own in-house or 3rd party systems.
